I want to take the next step and try living with my boyfriend, but I’d like to keep my current public housing unit just in case. That’s why I’m looking for a subtenant for 6 months. It’s a furnished 28-square-meter studio in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, near the Lelylaan station. The lease period is from November 1 to May 1 (6 months). What you’ll get: -A private 28-square-meter studio🏠 -Registration required -Rent and service fees total €946.33 per month (excl. taxes) -You’ll need to set up your own internet, electricity, drinking water, and hot water (+/- €255 per month) -Furnished apartment (bed, closets, kitchenware, TV, washer/dryer, small dishwasher, (sleeper) sofa, and possibly bath linens)🛏🛋🪑🖥 -Close to Lelylaan station🚊🚅🚌 -Shared rooftop terrace -Bicycle storage room🚲 Some additional info: The housing association offers the option to appoint a caretaker. If I do so, I’ll need to deregister from the address and provide a date for when I’ll return. You’ll need to transfer the rent and service fees to me. This means you’re required to register at this address and set up your own utility accounts. The apartment runs on electricity only, and we have a shared heat pump system for which you’ll need to sign up with the provider. Please keep in mind that I have a ferret—just in case of allergies!
